Some books I like
My list contains many books by Spanish and
South American writers. Stephen Vizinczey, one of the authors
in the list, said once that the best theater in
Spanish language is Shakespeare translated into Spanish, and I
agree. And yet ... I do not feel moved by Spanish films more
than by films in another language, but the best Spanish prose can provoke an
almost physical reaction that I haven't experienced in the other languages
I can more or less read (yet, I don't give up) ...
